What are the components of funds on hold

1. Pending Orders

Refers to the amount of pending orders.

For example, a purchase of 100 shares of 00700 at $200 would result in a freeze amount of $20,000 while the order is pending. After the order is filled or cancelled, this portion of frozen funds will be zeroed out.

2. Securities Transaction Fee(Estimated)

Upon completion of a transaction, a certain amount of transaction fees are incurred.

This portion of the frozen funds will be deducted upon settlement on the next trading day. For example, the Hong Kong stock transaction fees incurred on Friday will be deducted from the frozen amount after settlement on Monday.

Note: As the intraday transaction fees are estimated fees, they may differ from the actual fees. Please refer to the actual fees in the statement.

3. MTD Interest

The interest generated by the financing will be added to the frozen funds.

The interest will be deducted from the account at the end of each month and the portion of frozen funds will be zeroed out.

4. Currency Exchange, Transfer, Withdrawal & Deposit

When initiating a currency exchange, account transfer or withdrawal & deposit, the funds will be frozen until the processing is completed.

5. Other

Other freezes include buying power freezes, etc.
