Connecting with TurboTax - General Tax Questions

Futu has prepared form 8949 in TXF format for you to easily upload your IRS Form 8949 into TurboTax, you may use TurboTax in Desktop version (from CD / download) to upload it into turbotax, kindly note that TurboTax web version does not support file upload functionality

How to download Form 8949

• Logging in to your Futu Inc. account through fututrade.com 

• Click ‘Account’ on the top banner 

• Click ‘Documents’ in the pop out menu 

How to import Form 8949 into TurboTax

1. Open TurboTax desktop version, click File -> Import -> From Accounting Software

2. Select ‘Other Financial Software (TXF file)’, click Continue

3. Click ‘Browse Files’, select Form 8949 in txf format, then click 'Import Now'

4. Select 1099-B, Click ‘Import Now’
